We have been farming winegrapes in Kelseyville since 1965. We have three vineyard sites, One on the Red Volcanic Kelseyville Benchland, One on a steep hillside above Clear Lake and one in the fertile soils of Big Valley. We grow Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat, Zinfandel, Viognier, Petite Sirah, Barbera, Syrah, Cabernet and Semillon among other varietals.

Cover Crop In
We have planted our cover crop seeds just in time for the rain. Soon our vineyard will be cheery with crimson and white clover. We have planted bell beans in the Pinot Noir, as the soil is gravelly and drains irrigation water right through it. Hopefully the added vegetation will contribute to the creation of better soil over time. We hope this rain last night is a sign of much more to come this winter. We're all ready for the drought to be over.
